• simulates based on a physical model the winding process on the computer
• calculates the fibre path and winding pattern for any mandrel geometry
• automatically generates the part program in order to produce the part on any filament winding machine or robot
• can export the calculated laminate structure to a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software so that the mechanical characteristics of the part can be calculated immediately
